We need to prepare your turf for this service, and we start by mowing and edging your lawn to between 2 and 2.5". We maintain our same standards of excellence within this program as we do in all of our other turf sculpting services.

The service also includes the bagging and removal of debris from the property. 

Unless you are consistently bagging your clippings, chances are that you have a build of thatch at the roots of your blades.  Thatch is a combination of lawn clippings and other organic matter that accumulates naturally at the soil level after all the nutrients have been extracted. 

While leaving your grass clippings on your lawn provides healthy, free nutrients for your grass, it can get in the way of thickening up your lawn, so it's gotta go!

This service also includes the bagging and removal of debris from the property.

Over the season, our turf can become impacted causing the soil to become too firm and resulting in difficulty in your lawn's root growth. By removing small sections of soil (cores) from the turf, we are able to relieve some of this pressure which will allow roots to take more easily and much deeper.

The process also allows nutrients, water and oxygen to get to the roots of the lawn, which hasten grass growth.

We leave the cores on the surface of the lawn. This will only further feed your turf and provide top dressing for the new seeds to be planted.

We then apply a premium grass seed to your existing turf, filling in bare spots as much as possible.

3-5 days after overseeding, we apply a starter fertilizer to your lawn. This will provide those new grass seeds with additional nutrients that will help boost their growth and begin filling in empty spots.

At the end of your season, after your final mow*, we apply a fall lawn fertilizer to aid in giving your lawn the jump-start it needs come spring!
